Sessions
Share your signed-in sessions for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit so your agents can act on those platforms as you. Control every session from the Sessions tab.
A session is the signed-in state your browser already has for a site. The thing that keeps you logged into Instagram or LinkedIn without re-entering your password. When you share a session with Vibey, your agents can act on that site as you.
Approved Sites
Vibey Mini only saves sessions for a short list of platforms that agents commonly need. Every other site you visit is ignored completely.
| Platform | What your agents can do with the session |
|---|---|
| Post reels, carousels, and stories; analyze competitor accounts; pull transcripts from reels | |
| TikTok | Research competitor content, pull video transcripts, analyze trends |
| Post content from your profile, research contacts, pull company data | |
| X (Twitter) | Research accounts, read conversations, pull post transcripts |
| Manage pages, analyze engagement, pull video transcripts | |
| YouTube | Analyze videos, pull transcripts from private or age-restricted content |
| Monitor subreddits, research threads, analyze community sentiment |
The list can grow over time. New platforms appear automatically in your Sessions tab without you having to update the extension.
What's Captured
When you visit an approved site while signed in, Vibey Mini captures the cookies that site uses to recognize you. Nothing else.
| Captured | Not captured |
|---|---|
| Session cookies for approved sites | Page content, URLs, or browsing history |
| How many cookies were saved and when | Keystrokes, form inputs, or clicks |
| Expiry dates, so Vibey knows when to warn you | Cookies for any site not on the approved list |
| Whether a session is active or disabled | Your passwords |
Syncing runs quietly in the background. The same site syncs at most once every 2 minutes, and only if something changed since the last sync.
How It's Protected
- Encrypted at rest. Sessions are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they're stored.
- Encrypted in transit. Every sync uses HTTPS.
- Isolated per user. Only your agents can access your sessions. No other Vibey user ever sees them.
- Used in a sandbox. When an agent uses your session, it runs in a dedicated, isolated browser that's destroyed after the task finishes.
- Forgettable. One click removes any session completely.
The Sessions Tab
Open the sidebar and switch to Sessions.
Each Card Shows
| Shown | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Domain | The site this session is for |
| Status chip | Active, Disabled, Expiring, or Expired |
| Cookie count | How many cookies Vibey saved |
| Synced | When the session was last captured |
| Expires | When the session will stop working. Refresh before this |
Status Chips
| Chip | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Fresh, valid session. Agents can use it. | Nothing. |
| Disabled | You've told agents to skip this site. | Click Enable to turn it back on. |
| Expiring | Less than 3 days of life left. | Visit the site while signed in and click Refresh, or just wait for the next visit to sync. |
| Expired | The site has signed you out or the cookies expired. | Visit the site, sign back in, then click Refresh. |
Actions Per Card
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Refresh | Re-captures your current session from Chrome right now. Use this after signing back in to a site. |
| Disable / Enable | Keeps the session but tells your agents not to use it. Flip it back on anytime. |
| Forget | Deletes the session completely. Cookies and all. Your agents lose access to that site until you visit it again. |
How Long Sessions Last
Sessions last as long as the site keeps you signed in. Instagram typically 30–90 days. LinkedIn much longer. X shorter.
When a session has 3 days or less left, Vibey does two things:
- The extension icon shows a red ! badge.
- You get an in-app notification in Vibey (bell icon), with a link back to the site.
To refresh a session, just visit the site again while signed in. Vibey Mini syncs the fresh session automatically.
Turning Off Session Sharing Entirely
If you want to stop Vibey saving sessions altogether:
Forget every session
In the Sessions tab, click Forget on every row. This deletes every saved cookie.
Uninstall the extension (optional)
Right-click the Vibey icon in Chrome and choose Remove from Chrome. Nothing will sync after that.
Reinstalling later starts a fresh consent flow. Nothing carries over.
For Workspace Admins
If you're a workspace admin, the same list is mirrored inside Workspace Settings under Chrome Extension, so you can manage your sessions from the main app without opening the extension. Non-admin members see the section only inside the sidebar.
What Happens If You Skip Consent
Nothing breaks. Your agents work exactly like before. They just cannot sign into social platforms as you. Most tasks still work. Social-specific tasks will either fall back to public data or ask you to do the signed-in step yourself.
You can turn consent on anytime from the Sessions tab.
Frequently Asked
Can I add more sites to the approved list? Not yet. The list is managed by Vibey and grows as agents get new platform skills. New sites appear automatically.
Why was my session disabled when I opened the Sessions tab? If you turned it off earlier, it stays off until you turn it back on. This includes across different devices. Your setting follows your Vibey account.
My agent says it couldn't post to Instagram even though my session is Active. Instagram occasionally invalidates sessions for security reasons. Click Refresh; if the status flips to Expired, sign in fresh on Instagram, then click Refresh again.
Can someone else on my team use my sessions? No. Sessions are always scoped to you. Each teammate installs Vibey Mini and saves their own sessions.
