Setting Up Integrations
How to connect platforms, manage connections, and add custom MCP servers so your agents can use real tools.
Connecting a Platform
Open Workspace Settings
Navigate to Workspace Settings → Integrations.
Browse the Library
The Library tab shows all available integrations organized by category: Social, Ads and Analytics, Email Marketing, CRM, Payments, Productivity, Developer. Browse or search for the platform you need.
Click Connect
Each integration has a Connect button. Most platforms use OAuth - you'll be redirected to log in and approve access. Some (like ActiveCampaign and Fireflies) use API keys instead.
Choose scope in org context
If you're inside an organization, choose connection scope:
- Personal (default): only you can use this connection in the org.
- All Org: shared with everyone in the org (admin/owner only).
Confirm the connection
Once authorized, the integration moves to your Manage tab with status: Connected, Pending, or Error.
Connection Methods
| Method | Platforms | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| OAuth (redirect) | Meta, Stripe, GoHighLevel, PayPal, Calendly, Dropbox, Fathom, Slack, and most Composio-powered integrations | Click Connect, authorize in the platform's login page, redirected back |
| API key | ActiveCampaign, Fireflies, Fanbasis | Enter your API URL and/or key directly |
Managing Connections
The Manage tab shows all your connected platforms. From here you can:
- See connection status (Connected, Pending, Error, Disconnected)
- Expand each integration group to see individual accounts/connections
- Add multiple connections for the same integration
- Disconnect or remove a specific connection
- Set the default shared connection for an integration (admin/owner, All Org only)
- Re-authorize if access has expired
Scope Rules in Organizations
- Personal is the default scope when connecting in org context.
- All Org connections can have multiple accounts per integration, but only one default.
- Owner/Admin can manage All Org connections.
- Fathom and Fireflies remain personal-only.
MCP Servers
Beyond built-in integrations, you can add custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that your agents can use as tools:
- Go to Workspace Settings → MCP Servers
- Add a server URL with a name
- Assign a domain (shared, marketing, analyst, or developer) so the right agents get access
- Toggle per-agent access on or off
- Optionally import server configurations in bulk via JSON
MCP servers let you extend your agents' capabilities to any service that supports the protocol.
Which Integrations to Connect First
| Your goal | Connect these first |
|---|---|
| Content creation | LinkedIn, Instagram |
| Team communication | Slack |
| File management | Google Drive or Dropbox |
| Meeting knowledge | Fathom or Fireflies |
| Running ads | Meta Ads |
| Sending emails | SendGrid, GoHighLevel, or ActiveCampaign |
| Scheduling | Calendly, Google Calendar |
| Payments | Stripe |
You don't need to connect everything at once. Start with 2-3 integrations that match your most important workflows, and add more as you need them.
