Company Cortex
The operating mind of your organization. Company Cortex learns how your company thinks, decides, creates, corrects, and collaborates with agents.
Company Cortex is the operating mind of your organization. While the User Brain models an individual person, Company Cortex models how the company behaves: what it believes, what good work means, where agents should ask first, what patterns worked, and what mistakes should not repeat.
When agents work inside an organization, Company Cortex is what makes them act like they have worked there for a year.
What Company Cortex Learns

|---|---|
| Operating beliefs | "Trust beats urgency in our sales motion." |
| Quality standards | "A good sales follow-up references the customer’s exact words." |
| Collaboration protocols | "Agents suggest tasks after meetings; humans approve before creation." |
| Company moves | "Founder-led short video before launch works for trust-heavy offers." |
| Anti-patterns | "Do not invent customer pain points." |
| Decisions | "We stopped doing webinars because attendance was weak." |
| Tensions | "Move fast" vs. "Ask before changing workspace state." |
| Retrieval rules | When each company truth should enter an agent’s context window |

How Company Cortex Learns
Company Cortex learns through a controlled daily dream. Instead of calling Atlas after every single message, Vibey batches the day’s company activity, filters obvious noise, and asks Atlas to propose durable company signals.
The daily dream can analyze:
- agent conversations
- Space channel threads
- task activity and comments
- deliverables and nearby human reactions
- documents produced inside conversations
Atlas proposes learnings first. Admins can approve or reject them before they become durable company cognition.
How Agents Use It
Agents do not read the whole Company Cortex. Vibey compiles a small Company Operating Context for each task.
Example:
COMPANY OPERATING CONTEXT
- [standard] Keep customer-facing copy subtle and non-pushy.
- [protocol] Ask before creating or changing workspace objects.
- [anti_pattern] Do not invent customer pain points.
That is the moat: the company corrects once, and every future agent improves without flooding the context window.
Where to Find It
Company Cortex is org-scoped. It appears in the Brain picker when you are inside an organization.
Owners and admins can configure the daily dream in Workspace Settings → Brain:
- enable or pause Company Cortex dreams
- choose daily, weekdays, or manual-only
- set lookback window and timezone
- review proposed company learnings
Cortex Max for Company Cortex
Cortex Max organizes Company Cortex into living formations:
- Company Capsule the compressed essence of how the organization behaves
- Operating Beliefs company-level truths
- Company Perspectives clusters of beliefs that form a lens
- Company Tensions useful contradictions with situational guidance
- Standards & Protocols what good means and how agents should collaborate
- Moves and Anti-Patterns what to repeat and what to avoid
- Retrieval Rules when each truth should enter agent context
Company Cortex is not a wiki. It is the shared operating intelligence that makes every agent more aligned over time.
