Personal Space

The private Space that backs the Home composer. Yours alone, even inside an organization. Where your direct conversations with Vibey live.

What Personal Space Is

Your Personal Space is a Space that belongs only to you. It is auto-created the first time you send a message from the Home composer with no destination picked.

Personal Space is private. Even inside an organization, no one else can see what is in your Personal Space.

What Lives Inside

Anything you send through Home without picking another Space lands in your Personal Space:

  • Conversations with Vibey
  • Artifacts generated from those conversations
  • Tasks you create for yourself
  • Notes you write that are not meant for the org
  • Files you upload for your own work

You can also add views, channels, and flows to your Personal Space, just like any other Space.

Why It Exists

The Home composer is designed to be frictionless. You type, you send. No "pick a destination" pop-up every time.

Personal Space is what catches that input. It gives you a default place for personal work without forcing you to think about routing every message.

If you leave an org, your Personal Space stays with you. Org Spaces stay with the org.

Where to Find It

Personal Space shows up in your Spaces list with a personal icon. You can also click your avatar in the sidebar, which routes to a Personal scope view.

Using Personal Space Intentionally

Some users use Personal Space as:

  • A scratchpad for ideas before promoting them into an org Space
  • A private notes layer for personal decisions and tracking
  • A draft area for content before sharing
  • A separate workstream from org work (side projects, personal writing)

Others mostly ignore it and route everything to org Spaces. Both are valid.

Personal Space and the Brain

Personal Space is a workspace, not a brain. It does not have its own brain.

Conversations in Personal Space use your User Brain by default (since they are about you). If you tag a contact in a memory you save from Personal Space, that memory still flows to the Customer Brain at the org or personal level as configured.

Sending From Home to a Specific Space

If you want a Home message to go somewhere other than Personal Space, click the Send to picker in the composer footer (next to Integrations). Pick the destination Space (Personal, or any org Space you have access to).

The composer remembers your last choice for the session.
